1 month til race day. And I’m on day #7 off from running…uh oh. My foot is still not completely better and I can tell that if I run I’m just going to tear the skin off again (sorry if that’s too graphic!). I know I need a few more days off, but I’m starting to worry!!
I’ve been getting in some awesome cross training and strength training though. And while I’m missing running, it just reaffirms that I like to do whatever I feel like doing, and not what some training schedule tells me to do.
I hope that this isn’t too big of a set back and that I can still run the race. It’s going to take some work in the next couple of weeks, but (if my foot heals) I’m determined!!
